Why Vaudou Drums: Product made here in Quebec, and I am proud. Made with great craftsman hands. Vaudou Drums gave me the sound I was looking over my specifications. In addition to a drum set with a unique sound, it looks like no other. Whenever I sit on my throne is like the first day I met my battery, as my picture, for the first time!

Biography

It’s from the age of 13, Alain Lebarbé plays music drums. Young, he played in secret at dinner time, in a cubicle with a broken battery. In high school, he took a year of alto saxophone music concentration at « École Du Coteau » but he decided to listen to his passion: make the audition to become a drummer. He passed with brio!

 

Since then, Alain plays different music styles: hardcore, folk, rock, punk rock, alternative. In 2010, he made a show at the famous rock festival  » Vans Warped Tour  » and participated in the contest ‘Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands.  » He finished in the top 5 among more than 20 000 registered groups. Alain combines performances in various theaters of Quebec: MusiquePlus studio, Place Des Arts, Olympia, Divan Orange, Lion D’Or, the Cabaret Mile End, Salla Rossa, cabaret Underworld and the Café Campus. In 2012, he perform at the Mongolfières Festival of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu with Pacific Alive group and a second time in 2015 with the Hopeland group.

 

Currently involved in 3 projects: Hopeland, JanisRock and the group « Tribute to Paramore », Alain is a passionate drummer, curious and always in action. In 2015, he created the Facebook group  »Montreal Drummers Union » to bring together a drummer community across Quebec.

 

Ambassador of Vaudou Drums, Alain is trilled to play with the music battery of his dreams, a drum kit of his image!
